Students Take Part in Shasta Forestry Challenge

Seven Cordova High School students recently participated in the Shasta Forestry Challenge at Mountain Meadows Camp near Shingletown. The four-day competition attracted students from 15 California high schools, all of whom learned about ecology and forest management. Learn more

Donated Bikes Benefit Rancho Cordova Students in Need

Residents donated 25 unused bikes during the city's recent donation drive. The bikes were tuned up by Bike Labs and are being distributed to Rancho Cordova students.

Christmas in Cordova to Support 350 Families in Need

Christmas in Cordova provides parents with new toys for their children during the Christmas season. Organized by RCPD PAL, the motto is “every child should have a present to open at Christmas.” Applications are being accepted through November 11.  Learn more

Mather Field Road Rehabilitation Continues

Upgrades to Mather Field Road between Folsom Boulevard and International Drive include a resurfaced roadway, new medians and landscaping, improved ADA access and upgraded traffic signals. Paving, stripping and landscaping will be ongoing in November.  Learn more
