Bulletin 2017-16: Cardium Disposal Schemes in the Elmworth Field
On October 10, 2017 the AER issued Bulletin 2017-16 which outlines the conditions (wellhead pressure monitoring, initial pressure testing, etc.) that may be implemented by the AER on Cardium disposal schemes within the Elmworth Field.

AER Legacy Email Addresses: Decommissioned
Please note that the legacy email domains eub.ca and ercb.ca for the AER have been decommissioned. They no longer work....so ensure that you're sending emails using the appropriate domain!
Bulletin 2017-18: Implementation of Pipeline Amendments Using OneStop 
As of November 6, 2017, all pipeline amendment applications must be submitted through the new AER "OneStop" DDS process. These applications can no longer be submitted using the EAS system.

However, please note that Partial Substance Change Applications for pipeline amendments are not yet covered under OneStop (see Bulletin 2017-20). These applications must be emailed to [email protected] .

SME: Directive PNG025 - Licensee Liability Rating Program
On October 1, 2017, SME released a draft Directive outlining its LLR equation, liability costs and unassessed and designated problem site processes.

SME: Shadow Billing Period Extended for Well Data Submissions
On October 24th, 2017, SME again extended the shadow billing period for any unfulfilled oil and gas well data submission obligations until early 2018.

Bulletin 2017-19: New Authorizations Process for Alberta Wetland Policy
Effective January 2, 2018, projects that will have permanent or temporary impacts on wetlands will contain approval conditions related to this policy.
