Where to focus our energy?
The season is changing and the same happens within our schools. When things change how are you adapting? When you have students with different needs how do you differentiate to ensure all students are engaged in their learning? How do you focus your energy to make the greatest impact?
SEEC strives each and every day to offer the best high-quality, evidence-based learning opportunities to help teachers advance their knowledge and skills - essentially to give you more tools in your toolbox to easily find, use and help each child with their unique needs.
Our goal is to help ensure high-quality instruction is happening in all classrooms and in out-of-school-time programming. Read below about some of these efforts through Afterschool Quality Coaching, Student Engagement, Multi-Tier System of Supports.

SEEC Receives 2nd Bush Foundation Ecosystem Grant
SEEC is 1 of 41 organizations to receive grant.
Wording taken from Bush Foundation announcement...
Some might call these infrastructure organizations or intermediary organizations or just can't-do-without organizations. We call them ecosystem organizations because they help create an environment for big things to happen in the region by supporting other organizations and leaders.
Ecosystem grants provide general operating support over two years for organizations that provide critical data and analysis, spread great ideas and build capacity, advance public awareness and policy and build and support leadership networks

North Sargent Public Schools:
Focusing on Continual Improvement
A district of about 200 students nestled in the small town of Gwinner, North Dakota, North Sargent Public Schools prides itself in the ability of their students, staff, community and Board to all work together in making their schools a great place for kids to learn and fulfill the schools' mission.
That mission is to "Develop Confident, Caring, Creative Builders of the Future." And their vision is that all students will achieve continuous improvement in both this mission and in academics.
When asked what makes them proud to represent North Sargent Public Schools as a leader, there was agreement amongst leadership that it was the willingness of everyone to work cooperatively in fulfilling these goals and to come together when needed most.
"It's a small enough district that the community is very involved and supportive. Students and staff come together as a family in times of need," Secondary Principal Dawn Hoeke said.
