The Month of Thanks!
It's November – how did that happen? Wasn’t August just last week? However we got here, this month holds one of my favorite holidays, and one so appropriate for us here at OICMF – Thanksgiving! We are all so thankful to all of you, for all you do to bring extraordinary music to Orcas. On behalf of Tracy, Linda, Aloysia and Jackie, I would like to thank every one of you - our amazing volunteers, donors, board and committee members, artists, interns -- all the members of our OICMF community. Each in your own way (some in multitudinous ways), you make us what we are: an organization I am so grateful to be a part of! Happy Thanksgiving. Here’s to our 22 nd Season, August 2 - 17, 2019. It’ll be here before we know it! Thank you.

Help us Bloom!

Are your thoughts turning to Spring, and gardening? Do you have a talent and a passion for playing in the dirt? Have we got an opportunity for you! So many people enjoy and appreciate our small garden, the entry to our office. For many years it has been kept beautiful by our amazingly talented gardener, Jean Dickerson. Jean is now looking for an assistant, a partner, to envisage and create this lovely area along with her! We have a small budget for plants and a huge budget of gratitude for whomever might volunteer to work on this little piece of paradise (not to mention, the plants have a habit of growing and growing and, with permission, there are often perennials looking to be re-homed, i.e. to your place). Plus, you’ll gain all sorts of knowledge working alongside this legend of Orcas Island gardens!

If you are interested, let me know - (360) 376-6636 or anita@oicmf.org.
