OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Operation Christmas Child is a Christmas ministry from Samaritan's Purse that touches the lives of millions of children around the world.

It is a very simple and inexpensive donation you can make that offers the opportunity to demonstrate the true meaning Christmas.  All you need to get started is an empty, standard sized shoe box.  We are asking you to purchase items to fit inside the box that matches your child's gender and age.  If your family chooses to put together more boxes, you can fill them for any age or gender.  Samaritan's Purse is also asking for  a $9 donation to cover the cost of shipping and handling for each box.

National Collection Week will be from November 16-20th.  Please send in your child's box bound with a rubber band or tape with the label (sent home in family folders or at the link below) to the school office.

HONOR'S ASSEMBLY
AMAZON SMILE

The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the charity of your choice. Please choose Family of Christ Lutheran Church to support our school.

RED RIBBON WEEK
-I BELIEVE IN ME, I'M DRUG FREE-

Red Ribbon Week, themed: "I believe in me, Happy, Healthy and Drug Free!" was last week. There was a lot of excitement around campus as the students participated in activities to remind them that a drug free life is the best life. We truly appreciate all of the time and effort of the student council for putting together a fun-filled week with an important message.

CHAPEL OFFERINGS

First and second quarter chapel offerings will be going towards "Hearts for Jesus World Mission."  This is a ministry whose mission it is to be the first to reach the "Unreached" people of the world with the Word of God.  One of the most powerful  ministry tools they use is called, a "Treasure," a solar powered audio device that contains the Bible in the native language of the people who receive them.
