COVID and BEYOND...

We are back in Brazil, Praise God!

After 2 1.2 years of being in the states we went back to Brazil at the end of August 2022. When we arrived, I honestly anticipated a feeling of being out of place and/or disjointed. The opposite happened, as it felt as if we never left, WOW, what feeling! It was really a beautiful feeling of being home.

During the pandemic, Brazil suffered one of the highest rates of COVID related deaths and infections in the world. During this time, it was challenging for us to find a window of return with the several rounds of lock downs that took place. During COVID Débora and I remained in Kansas City. We were actively busy and enjoyed the family time and the births of our 2nd and 3rd grandchildren (Mila and Forrest) as well as, the marriage of our our youngest daughter Sophia to Kyle Gilmore.

Like the rest of the world, things in Brazil are pretty much back to normal.

Since we've been back we have reconnected with people around the table and let the Lord sovereignly direct our steps, opening the doors He wants us to pass through as we get set up for a new season. Brazil is a very relational culture and so much happens around the table. It has been refreshing to reconnect and establish new relationships since we have been back. Without question, the Lord has done exceedingly beyond our expectations and great things in aligning us for the next post pandemic steps here in Brazil. In next months e-newsletter we look forward to sharing some amazing details of new alignments and what the prophetic voices are speaking over Brazil.

It was a blessing to reconnect with pastors Renato and Michelle, along with Pastor Samuel and his wife. We look forward to spending the week of November 5-11th in Curitiba Brazil for the National MFI Brazil pastor's conference.

and his apostolic team. Pastor Judá has been a prophetic voice throughout Brazil for the past 32 years. We had the privilege to be part of a 3 day prophetic conference in Campinas, Brazil celebrating the 100th conference of "Famintos for Deus" which means "Hungry for God" and the 60th birthday of Pastor Judá.

While in Brazil Michel's step father passed away in Florida. In the past years he suffered from heart and other health issues.

We travelled from Brazil to Florida to be with our mom and family for the funeral. He once told us that the best thing that has happened to him in life was to meet my mom and have us children as his family.

New Look...

We will be continuing the process of developing the new e-newsletter format with a new look and replacing the old name "Evangelism Brazil," with the new e-newsletter name "Sozo Life Global." We feel the newsletter name better reflects the vision, purpose and carries the testimonies of what the All Nations Ministry represents. Sozo is the greek word meaning: To save, heal, restore and redeem.

Our Daughter Giovanna, son-in-law Isaac and our grandson Forrest came and spent several weeks with us here in Brazil.

Débora's mom (Marilda) and father (Décio) also came to spend time in Brazil to see family and friends.

It's always nice to have family and friends come from the States.

We had a great time celebrating Débora's birthday with family in Rio Claro, Brazil

October was election month in Brazil. During the campaign season we had the opportunity to have coffee with Joaquina a former council woman from Campos do Jordão, who was running for Senate, as well as another man

who was running for the house of representatives.

A NEW TIME...

Biblically, prophets had authority to speak and declare over a nation the Word of the Lord. They carry a mantle of Kingdom influence.

The Lord GOD does nothing, unless He reveals His

secrets to His servants the prophets. Amos 3:7

We were invited to attend the "Hungry for God' prophetic conference in October in Campinas, Brazil with Pastor Judá Bertelli. It was surely 3 days of Glory. The presence of God saturated the environment as the Holy Spirit touched and impacted everyone present.

After a 6 hour morning service (9am - 3pm) we were invited to have lunch with Pastor Bertelli and his team. As we sat at the table he prophesied over Débora and myself for over 1 1/2 hours. It was something so beautiful as the Lord spoke to us in prophetic affirmation about our calling here in Brazil and what to prepare for. The Lord also spoke about Sozo Mountain in Campos do Jordão and that the years of travail and labor we have spent in waiting upon the Lord are over. We are to trust Him and we will see the fruition of Sozo Mountain. Praise God!

Something so beautiful also happened at that moment. Pastor Bertelli decreed and assigned Brazilian citizenship in the spirit upon (Michel) and authority over the nation of Brazil. He also spoke that the Lord is forming an alliance, taking the best of Brazil and the best of America in putting our lives together to be a strategic influence in Brazil and the nations.

Pastor Bertelli made a covenant of love with Débora and I. He said the moment should be anointed with oil. On the table there happened to be a bottle of oil with the label "Oil of the Mountain Range" Wow!!! He just prophesied over us about Sozo Mountain, how fitting!

Débora and I were invited to speak to a group of about 80 young people at a weekend youth retreat. What a blessing to impart the Word and the gifts of the Holy Spirit to the next generation.

SOZO MOUNTAIN UPDATES

Sozo Mountain received legal status in Brazil during the early stages of the pandemic in Brazil. After almost 5 years of waiting it finally came through. In the next e-newsletter we will share more detailed updates about the Sozo Moutain Children's Home Project. We invite you to believe with us and participate in making this a reality.
