Time dedicated to Fall conferences has been scheduled for   12:55 - 2:50 pm on Tuesday, November 20, and from 1:00 - 8:35 pm on Monday, November 26, in fifteen minute intervals.          As in the past, parents will have the opportunity to schedule a conference with one "Core" teacher per child.  Special Area teachers will be available throughout the conference days for drop-ins.

Conferences may be scheduled online using the Home Access Center (HAC) (https://hac.tesd.net/).  While HAC remains open throughout the school year, online conference scheduling will only be available Monday, November 5 (beginning at 10:00 am) through Monday, November 12 (closing at 11:55 pm).  If you want to meet with a teacher and there are no available conference times left in their schedule, please contact the teacher directly via email or phone so you can set up a time to communicate about your child's progress.
Instructions for accessing the scheduling system can be found by clicking here.  If you have forgotten your HAC username or password, please follow the link on the HAC homepage to recover your login information.  You may also email familyhelpdesk@tesd.net if you need technical support.  Parents who do not have internet access or who prefer not to schedule online will still have the option of scheduling by phone by contacting T/E Middle School's main office at (610)240-1200.  Also, please feel free to contact us if you need to make any changes after the scheduling window closes.

Have Fun and GO BULLDOGS!
From the School Nurse .....

Please keep your kids home when they are sick. The nurse understands that, as parents, you worry about how much work your student will miss. Teachers and staff would rather your student stay home a day or 2 to rest versus catching what your student has. Sick students can't learn. If a child vomits or has a fever, they need a minimum of 24 hours to recuperate.

Please understand that if your student needs to miss a gym class due to an injury or illness, a parent note is good for excusal from ONE gym class. PA state law requires a doctor's note for excusal from all subsequent gym classes.

Additionally, if a doctor writes a note stating that your student is to be excused from gym and sports until further notice due to an injury or illness, a doctor's note is required PRIOR to your student being allowed to participate in gym or sports per PIAA rules.

PIAA and PA state laws require a clearance note from a doctor after a concussion PRIOR to resuming gym and sports.

As always, please feel free to contact me at coaryl@tesd.net or 610-240-1210 if you have any questions.
AudioBody is Back by Popular Demand!

Live at Valley Forge Middle School

Presented by DELTA
Districts Educating and Learning Through The Arts

The synthesis of music, comedy, and technology - AudioBody's performance is an electronic journey into an unknown realm of seriously spectacular entertainment! This thrilling show features an explosive mix of circus arts, relentless comedy, full-body contortion, juggling, LED light shows, and up-beat music! AudioBody's multifaceted training and almost 20 years of experience in the performing arts has made them a global sensation and featured performers on Disney Cruise Lines, at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas and at The White House on three different occasions!

The AudioBody show is brought to you by DELTA, the non-profit consortium of PTO Cultural Arts representatives from Tredyffrin/Easttown, Radnor, Great Valley and Lower Merion School District areas. The incomparably high quality Cultural Arts programming that our children enjoy is made possible by the efforts of DELTA volunteers who work together to make programs available to and affordable for our member schools. AudioBody will perform their full, 90 minute theatrical stage show for our community following a 12 school tour where they will feature their shorter educational program tailored to student audiences. TEMS students will enjoy shows during school on Wednesday afternoon, 11/14. Just one of many quality programs brought to you by your TEMS PTO!

Come out and enjoy a great night of high quality family entertainment while also supporting DELTA's mission of supporting our children's learning through exposure to the Arts in all forms!
