Sweet and Spicy Fall

Pumpkin Spice fills the air with a sweet and spicy fragrance of fall. It might not be your favorite but for me, it reminds me of slowing down and enjoying the changes in seasons. The sweetness of being with family and friends during the holidays and the spicy gatherings that brought the house to a thunder.

I hope that we can all take a collective breath and remind ourselves of the people that make our lives so special. Taking care of ourselves, mentally and physically, is so important in a world that feels overwhelming sometimes.

Remember, the library now has a Teen Advisory Board and they would love for you to join! Please reach out to me if you have any questions. T.A.B. had a very successful event for Halloween and they hope that future events will include you!

Printmaking at the Library?

VP.jpg

Printmaking is the transfer of images that are cut or build on one surface to another surface that reflects the original image. Printmaking can be done by woodcut, etching, engraving, lithography, and screenprinting. You can learn more about the process of printmaking from The Met.

Local artist, Vanessa Porras is offering to teach a printmaking workshop here at the Library! Please fill out the survey below to help us find a way to bring printmaking and/or other art workshops to the library.
