November 8! It was the day we'd been waiting for since March 2020. The return of international travel to the US. For the tourism industry, it feels as if it should be designated a future holiday.

While there are many challenges ahead - testing requirements, capacity, workforce, and future COVID waves - the fact that we're back makes me optimistic for growth in 2022 and beyond.

A big thanks to our partners and members for staying the course with us, knowing that the road to a return to 2019 levels of visitation will be long but worth it.

To find out more about this road and how we're navigating it, please join us for our annual Global Marketing Update (GMU) at the International Spy Museum in Washington, DC, Thursday, December 2 from 9a-2p. Registration info and link below.

Also, we're working on putting together our tour operator marketing co-ops, sales and media missions, and a new event for 2022, which I'll be talking more about at our GMU. Stay tuned!

All the best!
