Chevron RFAR Charity Challenge

Yesterday kicked-off the year-end season of giving AND the Chevron Houston Marathon Run for a Reason 10-day Charity Challenge! With your help, we could win an additional $25,000 from Chevron Corporation for THE FIRST TIME EVER!

We are competing to win in the category of “Highest Number of Donations Made by Unique Individual Donors” OR “Most Money Raised by an Individual Charity During the Contest Period”. Would you consider a year-end meaningful donation to Avondale House in support of this challenge?

Your donation will directly help Avondale House expand their programs and services to impact more individuals with autism. Every dollar counts, and no donation is too small! We are so grateful for your support.

Individuals who contribute $1,000+ will be mailed a one-of-kind, hand-painted holiday ornament designed by a student or program participant of Avondale House. We hope you enjoy this special token of our appreciation!

In Remembrance of: Sherrial Lowe

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of beloved Avondale House team member and friend, Sherrial Lowe. Sherrial passed away on Sunday, October 30. Sherrial began working for Avondale House in 1988 and was a wonderful friend and colleague to many. Sherrial dedicated 34 years to her work at Avondale House, always showing love and kindness to our residents. She will be deeply missed.
