University of Maryland Global Campus Virtual FUNd Run

Entry fee: $35 per participant

The UMGC Virtual FUNd Run is a global fundraiser for the UMGC Veterans Assistance Fund. You can participate as an individual or with a team by running or walking and tracking progress along the way. Learn more about our daily community challenges on the Participant Resources page.

Operation Green Light for Veterans

When: Nov. 6-12

Where: Your business or residence

Join us in lighting buildings and homes in green to raise awareness and express our profound thanks for the sacrifice and service of our veterans. By shining a green light, we send a clear message to our veterans that they are not only seen but also deeply appreciated and supported.

Veterans Free Breakfasts

at Bulrushes Café

When: Tuesday, Nov. 7, 7-11 a.m.

This event takes place every Tuesday

Drop by Bulrushes Café in Prince Frederick to connect with other veterans and enjoy a FREE breakfast. 

Bulrushes is looking for organizations or individuals to provide financial sponsorship for these weekly breakfasts.
