November Announcements
Happy November! As we get into the holiday season please mark upcoming important dates on your calendar and look for new announcements. One new change to our youth ministry is that we have purchased a new curriculum! We tested this curriculum last month and the youth have been connecting well with it. Future announcement newsletters will include a description of the curriculum "theme" for that month along with a parent tip video. Please read below about our "theme" for November! Please also note that "The Well" will be on Wednesday nights in November to try and accommodate families that are busy on Monday nights. Please join us and don't be afraid to bring friends!
Upcoming Dates
November 7th - Please email me if your family can provide a meal for this Well night

November 14th - Thanksgiving celebration with LO Parks and Rec youth 6:30-8:30 pm (look out for a future announcement with details for this event)

November 15th - LOSN: Interfaith Youth Sustainability Event adult volunteer informational meeting

November 18th-23rd - No 30 Good Minutes or Well for Thanksgiving

November 28th - Food Truck Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 pm

December 1st- Advent wreath and gingerbread making kit party

Pumpkin Patch Event
On October 21st, we went to The Maize on Sauvie Island! The weather was beautiful and sunny and we had a great time. Thanks for everyone who joined and for our parent chaperone, Wendy Medeiros!
November Curriculum
Our new curriculum is called "Grow" and it is fantastic! For the month of October our theme was "The Greatest Show" where we explored identity and how we are loved, we have purpose, and we belong. For the month of November our theme is "After You" where we will be focusing on others and how to live selflessly. Check the curriculum link below along with the parent tip video for this month!


Food Truck Wednesday
On November 28th from 5:30-7:30 pm, the Koi Fusion Food Truck will be parked in our lower church parking lot. This will be our dinner for The Well, but families are welcome to stop by before. Please check out our informational flyer to the right and invite your friends!
LOSN: Interfaith Youth Sustainability Event
If your youth is an avid environmentalist or interested in and communicating how our faith community can become sustainable then we need YOU ! Please click on the link below to check out the informational flyer. This can be a great experience for volunteer hours that youth can put on their resume and college applications.

Advent Wreath Making Party

Youth and parent volunteers are invited to come to the church from 1 pm-3 pm on Saturday December 1st for lunch and making of advent wreath kits. The youth will also be putting together gingerbread house kits and cookie decorating kits. These kits will be sold on Sunday December 2nd during the advent wreath making event and proceeds will be donated towards the youth budget.


Christmas Eve Readers

We are in need of 6 youth to be readers for our 5:30 pm Christmas Eve service. Please email me if your youth are interested in this!
