Veterans Day

World Kindness Day
November 13th

This day dedicated to acts of kindness was started in 1998 and has since spread to 28 countries! It doesn't have to be elaborate and grandiose actions. Just a little gesture of kindness goes a long way! Hold the door.... give a compliment..... reach out to an elderly neighbor..... leave a note for someone that says 'I think you are awesome'!

Share your acts of kindness with us for our next newsletter!  Have fun! Kindness does feel good!  Use #WorldKindnessDay to share on social media.
Take-Home Service Kits
Winter Theme

As we face colder months and move into the 'giving season' our Winter-themed, Take-Home Service Kits may be the perfect answer to kicking the boredom and spreading some good. Focused on food insecurity and the homeless community, these projects will benefit the most vulnerable individuals during these upcoming winter months. Check out this and other themed Take- Home Kits on our website.
National Gratitude Month

November is National Gratitude Month.
Gratitude is more than simply saying “thank you.” Gratitude’s amazing powers has the ability to shift us from focusing on the negative to appreciating what is positive in our lives. Maybe start a gratitude journal for you and your family. Check out the link below for more ideas on celebrating Gratitude this month!
New Projects
Helena's Hope Bag

Helena's Hope Bag is a new project launched this fall. Dedicated to a special friend of The Giving Tree, this project is a gift for those in the homeless community. Helena Boyle was a wonderful woman who brought hope to the most vulnerable individuals. Her mission was simple… giving hope to others. She dedicated her time & energies engaging with the homeless community.   Building relationships… with no judgement. Offering help and giving hope to those in need.
