Step into the vibrant world of "Arte Activista," where art and tradition come together in a dazzling celebration of Dia de los Muertos!

Artists Aaron Douglas Estrada, Fredo Diaz, Oscar Magallanes, Alexa Ramirez, Jackie Castillo and Susan Aparicio of 3B Collective created the six unique altars on display, which honor artist and magazine founder David Holland ("Teen Angel"), legendary radio DJ Art Laboe, lowrider artist Jesse Valadez, singer Jenni Rivera, historian and social commentator Mike Davis, and photographer Laura Aguilar.

This groundbreaking exhibit celebrates the rich history, artistry, and profound impact of lowrider culture in California. Lowrider bicycles, custom artwork, photographs, and historic artifacts reveal the vibrant world of lowrider culture and its deep-rooted connection to the local and statewide community.
