What to do When School is Out?

A complete list of non-school dayS (NSD) programming options can be found  here . On t hese days we offer care from 6:30 AM until 6:00 PM and sometimes include a FUN field trip! You can register for these days in Eleyo at any time, remembering to pay attention to the deadlines for registration. The deadlines are also the last date you can withdraw your child from the NSD without being charged. Once a registration deadline has passed, you are not guaranteed childcare and may be put on a wait list. Registration for October 17th and 18th is due by October 3rd.

Updates!

Toy From Home Day Reminder!

Thursdays  are toy from home day. Kids may bring one non-violent, non-electronic toy to Extended Day on this day if they choose to.  Remind them that they are responsible for their toys.  They will be able to have their toys out during designated times.

 Activity Lead!

Our Activity Lead at Vadnais has been placed! Please help me in congradulating Delanie Ficek on her promotion!

We are very excited to announce that Vadnais will be finishing our Accreditation process that was started last year and continuted on into the fall!

Our validator will be visiting us on November 14th! Our staff and youth have worked very hard together during the Accreditation process.

Fun and Interesting Days in November

A Peek into November

November and pumpkin spice season has arrived! We will continue to offer a Daily Special, an activity that offers multiple components including STEAM, Literacy, Social Studies and Social Emotional Learning. It's great, cause the kiddos usually just think it's fun! Our new Dramatic play area withh transform into a Food Truck! Did You Know...

That at Extended Day we purposefully and deliberately provide several choices of activities for your children every day? Giving them choices helps them feel like they have power and control over what they do, and this is a big step in growing up. We offer STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math), literacy, active play, creative expression, camps, clubs and dramatic play every week. Your child is able to choose from these options based on what sparks his/her interest! 

October Highlights

We have had a lot of fun in October! We ended the month with a party that included playing Bingo.

Highlights of the month included the Astronot set up in our Dramatic Play area, and all of the great Daily Specials. The weather was decent most days so we had the opportunity to spend plenty of time outside and go on nature walks.

Billing

Tuition should be paid promptly! Auto pay is available via the Eleyo system. Late fees will be assessed to accounts not paid in full- if you have any questions regarding billing, or need assistance getting set up in auto pay, please contact our billing department at [email protected]. or at: 651-407-7511. Reminder: Payments are due on 15th of the month!

Drop-In Contract Information

Please enter Drop-in requests into the Eleyo system a minimum of 24 hours in advance . A confirmation email will be sent to you once the request is approved. If you DO NOT receive a confirmation email, the request is not approved. Families are expected to provide communication with the child's classroom teacher of any changes in after-school care arrangements with Extended Day.
