Fridays | 10:30-11:30 am


Bilingual stories and activities for young children every Friday at 10:30am. Educators from Raising a Reader will provide parents and caregivers with guidance about early literacy, create a network for parents of young children, and offer preschool skills to children who may not be enrolled in preschool.

Learn how to design, prototype, and iterate your ideas from scratch with the help of 3D printing, 3D scanning, and 3D Modeling tools. For ages 12+.

Wednesdays

3:00-6:00 pm


Bring your own laptop or use ours. Work on current coding projects or use the many free programs available online. This is a space to explore by yourself or collaborate with others in a relaxed environment. 

No instruction will be provided. For ages 10-18.


3D Printer Training


Fridays & Saturdays

9:00 am - 2:00 pm


Sign up for a 3D printer training! Learn how to use our Lulzbot Mini 2 safely so that you can come at a later date and work on your own projects. No previous experience is necessary.

Pitkin County Library invites you to read

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

Sign up for the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Program HERE. Then, swing by the Children's Room to pick up a program booklet, which you and your child can use to track reading and find fun activity suggestions. Prizes are handed out after 500 and 1,000 books.
