A Word from Supervisor Flaherty | | |
Webster Neighbor:
Election Day is fast approaching, and we have all seen the usual uptick in campaign mailings, candidates walking door-to-door, and endorsements of candidates all around us. I have always been vocal about the importance of participating in elections; an engaged community is a better community.
With Election Day coming this Tuesday, November 4, I encourage all voters to participate in the upcoming local elections. Engagement in government at all levels is an important aspect of being informed and active members of our community; however, most people may not realize what a significant impact local government has on their day-to-day lives. Participation in elections is critical to ensuring all voices in a community are heard.
I am grateful to those who have or will participate in the upcoming General Election, whether through early voting, an absentee ballot, or in person on Tuesday, November 4, at their designated polling place.
As always, please feel free to contact me by email or by calling 585-872-7068.
Sincerely,
Tom Flaherty, Webster Town Supervisor
