Celebrate the Festival of Lights with the City on November 12 at Sesquicentennial Park. Enjoy performances by local and international artists, family-friendly activities, delicious food, and experience the largest City-run fireworks show! Free transit shuttles will be running from select locations.
The City will honour Remembrance Day with a parade and services alongside Royal Canadian Legion Branches 15 and 609. Learn more about Brampton’s veterans and attend a service so that we may never forget those who have served and continue to serve to protect our freedoms.
Start your holiday season by exploring the Winter Lights Festival on November 17 and 18. Enjoy free, family-friendly activities including stage performances, our annual Tree Lighting ceremony, amusement rides, holiday markets, and more! Admission is free on Friday when you bring a new unwrapped toy in support of local organizations.
What you can’t see, smell, or taste can kill you! Brampton Fire and Emergency Services are educating residents on the importance of working carbon monoxide alarms through an online campaign and in-community events.
Under the Fireworks by-law, the use, purchase, discharge, possession, display, sale, and offer to sell of fireworks is strictly prohibited in Brampton. The safety of residents is the City’s top priority.
This month, follow the yellow brick road to The Rose for Brampton Music Theatre’s The Wizard of Oz. Rock fans will love Classic Albums Live: The Beatles Sgt. Pepper and Early Morning Rain: The Legend of Gordon Lightfoot. Catch the return of Jake’s Gift and come laugh with the Jay Martin Comedy Series!
