Important District Dates to Note
The District will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday, Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23.
Teen Center will be closed the entire week of Thanksgiving from Monday, November 19 to Friday, November 23.
District Offices and KydZonE will be open before Thanksgiving from Monday, November 19 to Wednesday, November 21.

Bass Lake Project
El Dorado Hills Community Services District and Rescue Union School District jointly announce that Rescue Union School District will sell the 142-acre land parcel at Bass lake to the EDHCSD. Both Boards have voted in favor of the real estate transaction, with an estimated close of escrow in early November. The District intends to further develop the land as a larger park complex as part of their Bass Lake Project Initiative.

2018 Sustainability Project
This past summer, the District began a sustainability project that provided LED lighting upgrades to 11 parks and facilities. The project will continue this November as construction begins on solar shade structures. A 33kW Solar Photovoltaic Shade Structure will be built at Promontory Community Park, and soon after, a 449kW Solar Photovoltaic Shade Parking Structure will be constructed at the EDH Community Park. Classes & Activity Highlights

Our World Kindness Day Party has moved from Saturday, November 3 to Tuesday, November 13. Join us at the El Dorado Hills Library (7455 Silva Baley Parkway) after it's storytime program, 2's & 3's On the Go, and enjoy an interactive experience full of fun activities that encourage kindness and respect. There will be two times for this event, after storytime at 9:30 am and after storytime at 10:30 am. The event is free and recommended for ages 2 to 5 years old. We can't wait to make crafts and spread joy with you!

Veteran's Day Tribute at the Gilmore Senior Center
Friday, November 9, starting at 1:00 pm come celebrate our veterans on this special day at our Gilmore Senior Center, 990 Lassen Lane in El Dorado Hills.

KydZonE After School Program
KydZonE heads to John's Incredible Pizza Company for a pre-Thanksgiving feast on Wednesday, November 21 from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm. The fee is $35, and that includes a Fun Card with 20 Fun World Credits, a tour of John's Incredible Pizza Company and unlimited pizza/salad bar. All participants must have a KydZonE Year-Round Hourly Account Card established and will be clocked in for hourly care for all field trips. Click here to register. Can't make the trip?
