District News & Updates
Bass Lake Project

El Dorado Hills Community Services District and Rescue Union School District jointly announce that Rescue Union School District will sell the 142-acre land parcel at Bass lake to the EDHCSD. Both Boards have voted in favor of the real estate transaction, with an estimated close of escrow in early November. The District intends to further develop the land as a larger park complex as part of their Bass Lake Project Initiative.

2018 Sustainability Project
This past summer, the District began a sustainability project that provided LED lighting upgrades to 11 parks and facilities. The project will continue this November as construction begins on solar shade structures. A 33kW Solar Photovoltaic Shade Structure will be built at Promontory Community Park, and soon after, a 449kW Solar Photovoltaic Shade Parking Structure will be constructed at the EDH Community Park. Parking lots will be affected. Please stay tuned for any updates about affected areas.
