VMLS UPDATE

FlōPlan platform ending

FlōPlan will begin removing functionality as the system ramps down in December and January.

December 11th was the last day to perform and submit a new property scan for processing.

  • December 18th: Last day to request fixes on existing floor plans.
  • December 31st: Pending requests will no longer be processed or updated.
  • January 30th: The final day to download and save floor plans.
  • January 31st: The app will be closed, no further access.

As we say goodbye to FloPlan, we welcome new media integrations in Flexmls with iGuide and Matterport. Those two are just the beginning as FBS continues to prioritize media in Flexmls, making the process of uploading faster, easier and less error-prone — gaining benefits from auto-fill functionality for a variety of industry-leading media providers.

If you created existing floor plans with FloPlan and are ready to download your floor plans to keep, click on the link below for a handy guide OR simply login to the floplan.io website, and download each floor plan you would like to keep.

GET INVOLVED

Voice your opinion on STR fees

Vail Town Council recently discussed potential fee and regulatory changes to the Town’s existing short-term rental requirements.

  • Establishing a new per-bedroom fee on all short-term rentals
  • Capping the number of short-term rentals
  • Establishing occupancy requirements for short-term rentals

VBR sent a letter to Vail Town Council and staff sharing some of the Association’s concerns. Given the unanimous consensus on the council for the per bedroom fee, our feedback will encourage them to adopt a per-bedroom fee of no more than $1k.

We encourage you to contact town council members directly. Use this LINK to email your council member (names and emails in the link).

Thank you in advance for helping to defend our industry by protecting property rights and supporting home ownership.
