Classes and programs for adults

A few featured November events, geared toward adults

As we move through the fall, just a reminder that NKCPL offers classes and events for grownups, too! New/featured this month? Intro to Hand-Knitting with staffer Kristina DeLuca. Learn how to cast on, knit the basic stitch, join your yarn, and cast off. You'll leave with a lovely lapghan--and the skills to make more hand-knitted creations: cozy blankets, dog beds, or even homemade gifts. Please note: Participants WILL need to bring their own supplies. For that list of supplies, and to register, go here.

'Tis the season for cozy sewing! Check out our November classes here, including a new offering on slow-stitching. These classes meet in our Common Threads sewing lab, located on the building's lower level.

Want to sew on your own? This space is also available by reservation. Email Amy for details!
