The Consecration of Central New York's 11th Bishop

The Consecration of The Very Rev. Dr. DeDe Duncan-Probe as 11th Bishop of Central New York will take place on Saturday, December 3rd at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Liverpool, New York. Details, including hotel accommodations and related events, are available on the diocesan website.

Albany Refugee Resettlement Ministry: Advocates Needed
The ARRM is looking for volunteers to advocate for Burmese refugee families who have been recently resettled in the communities of Albany and Rensselaer. Advocates help refugee families in the very basic needs necessary in assimilating to their new home. The St. Francis Mission is looking for people who can help right now. Read more.
Diocese of Central New York
The Rev. Jennifer Baskerville-Burrows, who was ordained by Bishop Joslin in the Diocese of Central New York, has been elected the eleventh bishop of the Diocese of Indianapolis. She served several churches in the dioceses of Newark and Central New York.  She is also the first African-American woman elected to be a diocesan bishop in the Episcopal Church.   Read more.

A vision of the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, CoSA was created to bring young Christians of different denominations from around the world to live in an intentional community in Lambeth Palace. EYE 2017 - in Oklahoma on July 10-14, 2017!
Now is the time to plan for EYE 2017.  The theme this year will be Peace. This gives our young people time to hold fundraisers and apply for grants to be able to get out to Oklahoma in July.  It also allows time for chaperones to arrange for time off to accompany the youth.
