November is a month to remember and reflect. To all our veterans, soldiers and first responders, we thank you for your bravery, hard work, and dedication to our country. It is because of you that we are able to give thanks and be grateful. A large number of volunteers, sponsors, donors and community partners took the time to celebrate with us on World Habitat Day and at our recent Groundbreaking and Key Ceremony on Forbes Street in London. Your support helps us continue our work in making affordable homeownership a reality, a dream where our families are able to realize strength, stability and self reliance. As fall ends and winter approaches, remember that you can stock up on home maintenance supplies or materials to winterize your home inside and out, by shopping at any of our six ReStore locations.

Groundbreaking & Key Ceremony in London

On Wednesday, October 23, we celebrated with Jennifer and Lindsie and their families as they received keys to their new Habitat homes on Forbes Street.
Canada Life
and
Libro Credit Union representatives spoke about their reasons for supporting the construction of affordable homes in London.
Arber and Lumturi and Karin and their families were also on hand to celebrate Groundbreaking for their homes which are currently under construction on the final two plots of land for this multi-year Manor Park project.
Forever Homes and
National Bank have partnered with Habitat Heartland to make affordable homeownership a reality for these two families.
Find out how your organization can get involved with our current build projects by emailing Amber at
