In the SFAC Galleries Window Installation Site is a spectacular new work by Sabine Reckewell, Dual Inclinations. This minimal work divides the large site into two intersecting planes through the application of rigidly stretched satin ribbon set. Although the work is simple in its individual components, the optical illusion created is both powerful and unsettling.

Palega Park reopening, featuring the unveiling of a new mosaic mural by Kelly Ording. ALSO, COMING SOON - new large-scale kinetic sculpture by Rebar Group.

WritersCorps Teachers Honored
Congratulations to WritersCorps Teaching Artist Harold Terez�n and former Teaching Artist Aja Couchois Duncan for receiving the San Francisco Foundation's 2013 Literary Award.
