As I look ahead, I also need to reflect. I need to make sure that I am not being busy, just for busy's sake. This newsletter shows me I am on the right path to connecting, growing and learning. On this journey we call life, it can be easy to want to be in someone's position. Know that your journey is just that, "Yours." Ground yourself in the present and WORK towards your desired FUTURE. Have a vision, motivate yourself to accomplish your goals, celebrate your wins and learn from your L's (lessons). As a Veteran, the holiday season is where we saw the most suicides. I leave you with this saying, "If you can be anything in the world, Be Kind."
Working With Tiffany, Virtual Assistance & More is booked to full capacity, and we will start accepting new clients after the New Year.
Inbox Blessings,

On Monday, October 3, 2022, we attended the Industry Engagement Day hosted at the GulfQuest Maritime Museum, as a local business. We wanted to hear the persective of panelists Chamber Executive Director Bradley Byrne, City of Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson, and Ben Kowing with SSAB, along with Dr. Russell Mumpor with UA regarding economic development opportunities and talent acquistions. We made a lot of connections with the University of Alabama staff and look forward to working with them in the future.
On Tuesday, October 4, 2022, we attended the Alabama Partnership for Children Childcare Summit. Our presentation was led by Executive Director, Gail Piggott. This summit was different for us because of the statical research that was provided to participants. We finished the summit with a lively Guided Table Discussion. Tiffany was seated at a table with employees represented by Infirmary Health, City of Mobile, University of South Alabama and Baldwin EDA in which they shared unique point of views. Special thanks to Bridgette Wilson of SAWDC and Abbey Hugley of the Mobile Chamber for facilitating our registration.

Mobile Chamber of Commerce
Small Business Eagle Awards
| |
This is one of those events where you just had to be there!
Darrell Randle, Vice President of Small Business Development with the Mobile Chamber of Commerce and his team selected a wonderful speaker for the 25th Eagle Awards Luncheon and Ceremony. Ms. Carla Harris, Vice Chairman, Managing Director and Senior Client Advisor at Morgan Stanley was the keynote speaker. Our takeaways from Carla's Pearls of Wisdom were personal branding, knowing what success looks like, understanding different currencies and the need to have a Sponsor! We invite you to join us as members of the Mobile Chamber of Commerce, for a first-hand experience.

We are sharpening our tools in order to provide our clients with the latest information and best practices in their sector. Our presenter was Danielle Dunbar, Executive Director of the Alabama Association of Nonprofits. This event was different because Danielle's PowerPoint Slides were easy to understand. She didn't overload the slide with tons of information. It was easy to digest and there were interactive activities for the participants to converse and learn from one another. During the intermission, Danielle invited us to become members of the Alabama Association of Nonprofits.
Thank you to The Community Foundation of South Alabama for being our host and our event sponsors Crow, Shields and Bailey PC.

Our last event of the month was celebrating The Maynard 4 Foundation Ribbon Cutting. During their first year of inception, they were able to provide over 12 Thousand Dollars in Community Giving. That's incredible and they deserve a round of applause! The founder, Suntrease Maynard shared about the four areas of focus being: Culture, Education, Health Equity and Social Justice. The Maynard 4 Foundation also has four signature programs which you can learn more about by visiting their website. Congratulations again and lead well!
