It is no secret U.S. employers continue to face a shortage of skilled workers in critical industries. More are turning to registered apprenticeship programs to build their own workforce for the future.

Celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, November 13-19, by joining Oakland County Michigan Works! for a special free, in-person employer workshop on the components of a registered apprenticeship program and the resources available to help expand your team on November 15 from 10-11 am.

Apprenticeship experts from both Oakland County and the state of Michigan will provide an overview of resources available to support a registered apprenticeship program, including available grants.

The speakers also will introduce the RAPTOR system, a free, digital platform that allows employers to track the progress of registered apprentices as they learn and earn on the job.
