Happy Birthday Novi Library!!
NPL is celebrating 9 years in its current building, and the best way to celebrate is to launch the newly renovated iCube makerspace.

Join us Saturday, June 22nd from 10:30am - 11:30am to learn about the technology, explore the room, meet the staff that created the concept, and hear about programs that will be offered in the future!  Get ready to be inspired!
Location:  2nd floor (formerly the computer lab)
Need a Laptop While Visiting the Library?
Check out one of our new laptops from the check-out desk and use it inside the Library or on the patio.  The loan period is from the time of check-out until 30 minutes prior to closing on the same day.  Laptops are available on a first-come, first-served basis  and are equipped with the same software as the public access computers -- Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016 and more.  Borrowers wishing to save files must save them to a USB flash drive, to personal data storage on the internet (in the cloud) or to personal email accounts since all personal files will be wiped clean upon the laptop's return.  Wireless printing is available at the same rates as the public access computers.
New Feature in Library App!
Enjoy using our library app for viewing upcoming events,  searching the catalog or placing holds?  We've just made it better!  You now have the ability to choose where  to pick up the item you placed on hold. Choose a location from the drop-down list and your item will be waiting for you.  Don't have our app?  Search for Novi Public Library in the Google Play Store or App Store, then download it to stay connected with us wherever you go!
Read, Enjoy, Share!
When you stop by Rotary, ITC or Pavilion Shore Parks this summer be sure to take advantage of some great reads!  Designed to encourage summer reading for all ages, keep the book as long as you like and when done, return it to a Read Box or the Library.  The Read Boxes will be available until October 2019.

Thank you to Kendra Scott (Twelve Oaks Mall) for a donation of youth books that will be placed in the Read Boxes and for supporting literacy in our community!
