A big thank you to Claire Ronk for her commitment to the Friends of the Novi Library, by volunteering for over 40 years!   Claire started out volunteering in 1973 when she became a member of the Friends Board of Directors and continues to be an avid volunteer and supporter of this group.  Claire, the Library and Friends group thank you  for your time!
Spots Filling Quickly-A Community Reads! 
Space is filling up quickly for the 2018 Community Reads program!  If you haven't already, be sure to pick up a copy of this year's book of The Poisoned City-Flint's Water and the American Urban Tragedy by Anna Clark at your local library.  This year, the event will be held at a new location: Wixom Public Library on Friday, November 9th at 7pm.  Register here.
More Ways to Pay!
Looking for an easier way to pay for fines?  Starting November 1 st , NPL will now accept additional credit cards including Discover and American Express in addition to VISA and MasterCard. 
Public Fax Machine Update! 
Beginning November 1st, the Library will no longer offer the Fax24 service and will be switching to GotFreeFax, an online service that allows users to send digital faxes anywhere in the U.S. and Canada free of charge, but other destinations will incur a fee.  Use up to two free faxes per day of up to three pages per fax.  Additional pages will incur a fee. Please see a Librarian at the first floor

Looking for Volunteer Opportunities?  
The Library is looking for assistance with our English Conversation Group program (Tuesdays at 1pm).  Previous ESL or teaching experience is preferred.  For questions and more information, email Shannon O'Leary ( [email protected]).
