U.S. Congressman Ron Estes Provides Insight to Federal Response
U.S. Congressman Ron Estes joined Chamber representatives for a conversation about the federal response to the Coronavirus pandemic. Andrew Wiens, Vice President of Government Relations, Karma Mason, Government Relations Committee Chair, and Jason Watkins, Chamber's Legislative Consultant, asked questions on behalf of the Wichita business community.

Governor Kelly Issues Statewide Stay-At-Home Order
Governor Laura Kelly issued a statewide stay-at-home order on Saturday, Mar. 28. This became necessary as many local governments were issuing their own versions and the statewide order gave the Kansas businesses consistency. The order went into effect Monday, Mar. 30.

The Small Business Owner's Guide to the CARES Act
The programs and initiatives in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security
(CARES) Act that was just passed by Congress are intended to assist business
owners with whatever needs they have right now.  This helpful guide from the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business & Entrepreneurship provides information about the programs and assistance products now available to businesses with 500 employees or less.
