POSITION (Replacement)
Academic Tutor – Mathematics
10-Month Ongoing Position (September – June)                 
 
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Provide academic student support by working one-on-one and in small groups with students on specific concepts and skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related or in limited circumstances, the equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven ability to work effectively with students of varying ages, cultures, and knowledge base. Proven ability to communicate ideas, principles and concepts effectively in individual or small group settings. Computer literacy skills at an intermediate level including a proven ability to utilize and apply Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point as well as specialized software programs and computer applications essential to the learning process. e.g. the College's Learning Management System and ERP.
Knowledge of information research strategies. Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with students, staff, and faculty. Must successfully complete discipline specific skills test. Fluency in a second language may be required. Must have ability to travel to other sites as needed.
 
College-wide position that may require flexible hours/schedule in any Brookdale location. Knowledge of Monmouth County and its communities preferred. Position is 10-month ongoing that runs September - June. This position will begin mid-January 2021. 
 
SALARY
Annual Prorated Salary for 10-months is $38,228 (N5)

POSITION (Replacement)
Head Coach – Women’s Tennis                                         
 
 
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Provide leadership and coaching expertise to prepare the team to represent the College in a positive
manner at all practice sessions and scheduled athletic contests. Cultivate an environment for the team that promotes success in and out of the classroom, good sportsmanship, open communications, team discipline, and respect for all. Serve as a positive role model for student athletes and assistant coaches.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree required or a combination of education and experience from which comparable
knowledge and abilities can be acquired. A minimum of two years of related coaching experience necessary, college level coaching experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communications skills necessary. Must demonstrate leadership, a commitment to athletic & academic excellence and an understanding of the vision and values of Brookdale. Must work flexible hours, local and overnight travel required. Knowledge of Monmouth County and its communities preferred.
 
Individual would be responsible for recruitment efforts and academic monitoring throughout the off season and remainder of calendar year.  
 
SALARY
Annual Salary is $5,750 per season
