Now Recruiting for a Research Associate: Data Visualization Analyst
 
The Program on Health Workforce Research & Policy at the Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research seeks a Data Visualization Analyst to join our team.
 
The Research Associate (RA) will work on multiple projects, with a focus on creating data visualizations for policy and research audiences. The RA will have strong Excel skills; experience programming in SAS, Stata or related software; the ability to interpret and display data in tabular and graphic formats; previous experience or familiarity in health policy; excellent communication skills for working with stakeholders and dissemination efforts; strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines; and the ability to contribute to presentations, policy briefs, and manuscripts. Knowledge of WordPress and Tableau, D3, GIS, R or other data visualization packages is preferred.
 
Principal functions of this position will include 1) product development, working closely with Sheps Center web developers; 2) project management; 3) data management and analysis; 4) data requests; and 5) research support.
