Now Open!
What strange times we are living through! We are so grateful to be allowed to open. Thank you to all our early customers who have been very patient with us as we navigate our new protocols for in person shopping. Thank you for understanding and cooperating with our new rules.

  • Welcome back inside our greenhouses - we are open for in person shopping
  • Open daily, 9am to 5pm. No appointment necessary

All our plants are looking fantastic! The bright sun in March and April has really brought the crops on well. We have grown more plants than ever this year so have plenty of stock. Whether you have been a customer for years, or you have just found us this year, please share details of our farm with your friends. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Plant listings and how to make a purchase
Our plants are posted on our website home page and divided into categories. Use these pages as a tool to plan your purchases from home. Bring your list with you when you come to shop. Plan to be flexible with your choices. Since we grow our own plants, once we sell out of an item, it will not be restocked. If we don't have what you would like, we will be happy to find a suitable alternative.

Please review the important Operating Procedures. They are in place to protect you and our employees.
Perennials are 'garden ready'
We grow over 150 varieties of perennials. I spend a lot of time in the fall researching and am continually adding new varieties to our collection. We grow all plants from seed, roots or cuttings. Our goal is to bring you healthy, hardy plants that will thrive in this area of Ontario. May is a great time to add perennials to your garden. They will tolerate cool weather and frost. If you have a new garden to fill, bring photos and measurements and we would be happy to make a planting plan for you to follow. We look forward to helping you select plants that suit.

Violas and Pansies
Lovely Early Colour

There's nothing like the happy blooms of Violas and Pansies to brighten up your life! Flowers are bright and early and will withstand frost and snow to provide continuous colour in spring, before we can plant out other frost sensitive plants. Why not plant a few by your front or back door?

Phlox Ultra Violet
Stunning colour and great disease resistance

If you love Phlox but are always disappointed by powdery mildew issues in late summer, this plant is for you! Here in southern Ontario, hot and humid summers can cause this disease to plague tall Phlox. I am very excited about Phlox Ultra Violet, a Proven Winners variety which has been especially selected for its improved resistance to this disease. Stunning dark magenta violet flower panicles are held above a full, bushy habit of bright green foliage. Be sure to locate these plants in full sun for the best flowering performance. A favourite of pollinators.

Growing Cool Season Vegetables
Plant now and you’ll be eating fresh Lettuce before the end of June!

Early to mid May is the time to plant the first veggie plants in your garden! Many new gardeners do not realize that several crops can be planted well before the last frost. These veggies are known as cool season veggies and although they can be planted later, they will establish and produce better if planted in cooler weather.
Thank you for your continued support of our business and cooperation with our health and safety protocols as we all navigate this pandemic together.
