SERVING THE MT. WASHINGTON VALLEY ARTS COMMUNITY FOR 31 YEARS!

Don't Miss This "Masterpeach" of a Performance!

Join Arts in Motion Theater Company at the Majestic Theater in Conway, NH for its production of James and the Giant Peach Jr. This musical features a cast of 36 kids ranging in age from 7 to 17, 14 of whom are performing with AIM for the first time, and who have spent months preparing to take you on a fantastical journey.

When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that grows a tremendous peach, rolls into the ocean and launches a journey of enormous proportions. James befriends a collection of singing insects that ride the giant piece of fruit across the ocean, facing hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements along the way.

Up Next: The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane

In The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, a play based on Kate DiCamillo's novel, audiences are taken on an emotional journey with Edward, a beautifully crafted but self-centered toy rabbit. Cherished by a young girl named Abilene, Edward remains indifferent to love until an accident sweeps him into a series of life-altering encounters. Each encounter—from a grieving couple to a hobo and his dog, and a boy caring for his sick sister—brings new experiences that challenge Edward’s vanity. Guided by a small ensemble of actors and musicians, this theatrical adaptation captures Edward's transformation from vanity to vulnerability, teaching him—and us—what it means to love, to lose, and to love again. A story of hope and resilience, this play invites audiences of all ages to reflect on what it truly means to love.

Become an Arts in Motion Sponsor!

Running a theater program as good as AIM's is fun, but there are a lot of costs associated with our performances and programs that aren't always covered by ticket sales. Our sponsors are kind of like our own angel investors, and the show wouldn't go on without them.

If you're interested in supporting Arts in Motion Theater Company and programs such as its 2025 season of must-see shows, scholarships for its kids camps, and other events that we offer, check out our 2025 Sponsorship Deck. We will be adding more benefits to our sponsorship packages soon, and can customize sponsorships to your needs.
