Happy New Year to all of you. As you can guess, the wheels are already turning in preparation for our 56th Biennial National Convention, which will be held at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio Texas, the week of August 12 to 16, 2019.
It is time for all of you to consider a very strong candidate to receive OSIA’s highest honor: the 2019 Guglielmo Marconi Award. Attached is all you will need to review and subsequently submit your nomination to the committee for final selection.
Please consider the many noble, honored and deserving members of the Italian American Community, be it corporate business, the arts, the sciences, etc. There are so many to consider, please make an effort. Even if you are not comfortable in approaching the individual, tell us and we will make contact.
Read over the attached materials: Nomination Form, the Award Criteria and a roster of past honorees to give you an idea of who accepted over the years.
Please forward your nomination and any attachments and/or resume to the National Office no later than
April 15, 2019
. Any nominations received after that postmark date cannot be considered by the Committee.
