IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED AN APPLICATION, THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE! We are reviewing your applications as quickly as we can to send approvals. If you are an artist, who makes art, and has submitted an application with a well-written artist statement and good quality photos of your artwork, you will be approved. The only applications denied are those where the work presented is not art, is not made by the artist who has applied, or is not appropriate for a festival environment.

Artists are defined as visual artists working in studio arts and crafts. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, weavers, printmakers, sculptors, potters, jewelers, illustrators, writers, and creators in all media may apply.
TO PARTICIPATE AS AN ARTIST:
-
You must be an artist selling or showcasing artwork that you have made. No MLM or corporate mass production work will be accepted. Pre-fabricated items that are modified will only be accepted if the modifications are significantly artistic in nature. For example, tumblers with font-based decals applied to them will not qualify as art. To be accepted, all artwork should be the product of an artist’s unique artistic expression and skill. All acceptances are at the discretion of festival organizers.
- Your artwork must be deemed appropriate for a festival environment. We're not the art police, so we aren't nitpicking, but want to make sure that ArtsGoggle is a safe environment for young art patrons, too.
- You must be in attendance on the day of the event.
- All artists must apply individually, even if you are planning to share a booth space with another participating artist.
ARTIST APPLICATION FEE: $100
*NOTE: If you are applying with a Waitlist Application, payment will only be required IF you are granted a spot in the festival.
This is a non-refundable fee and is the only fee to participate in ArtsGoggle if approved.
STUDENT DISCOUNT CODE Students of all ages may request a discounted application fee of $50. To qualify, please email natalie@nearsouthsidefw.org or megan@nearsouthsidefw.org with details about the age, current enrollment, and artistic experience of the artist.
INDOOR ARTIST DISCOUNT CODE If you have made private arrangements with an indoor venue for ArtsGoggle, then we are happy to extend a discounted artist registration fee of only $50 since we will not need to provide electricity or other infrastructure to you at the festival.
PRIOR TO PURCHASING YOUR APPLICATION, please email megan@nearsouthsidefw.org to receive the Indoor Artist Discount Code by sharing the name of your indoor venue. Once you have the discount code, you can purchase your ArtsGoggle application, and when completing your application you'll select "INSIDE A PRIVATE VENUE" when asked about your location preference.

FOOD VENDORS APPROVALS ARE A TOP PRIORITY.
If you have applied, we are working as quickly as we can to place food vendors and send either acceptance or decline notices to all vendors. If you are considering other events for the same date and need a more urgent response to your application, you can email megan@nearsouthsidefw.org to discuss.
The ArtsGoggle food vendor application deadline was July 26, 2023. Applications received BEFORE July 26, 2023 will be offered priority during review. We are leaving the food vendor applications open for late applications. Late applications will be placed if on-time applications do not fill the need ArtsGoggle has for food vendor diversity of product, quantity of vendors, and quality.
So what we're saying is....there's a chance your late application is beneficial to you. There is no fee to apply as a food vendor. And, worst case scenario, all ArtsGoggle food vendor applications are saved as a running database of eligible food vendors for other Near Southside community events and referrals for the 2023/2024 year.
|
|
FEES: $250 flat fee to participate if accepted.
The application is for vendors wishing to sell ready-made food products at ArtsGoggle. We are specifically seeking freshly prepared lunch and dinner cuisine; non-alcoholic drinks such as coffee, tea or specialty beverages; and snack items such as baked goods, snow cones, popcorn, pretzels and other handheld snacks.
Food vendors who are selling items that are designed for consumption AFTER ArtsGoggle and that could not realistically be eaten during the event, such as jams, salsas, and hot sauces should apply for ArtsGoggle using the ARTIST application by selecting "culinary artist" for their artistic medium when completing the application.
Please note, this is an application to request participation and does not automatically guarantee participation. ArtsGoggle management will review your application and contact you with approval if you have been accepted to participate. If approved, payment of $250 must be submitted no later than October 1, 2023.

When booking, ArtsGoggle shows a strong preference for performers with a personal connection to the Near Southside and Fort Worth and prefers to book acts with original music, not cover or tribute performances.
Tony Diaz and the team from Panther City Exchange (PCX) book and coordinate all of our entertainment at ArtsGoggle. They are reviewing applications right now. You will hear from him with either an offer to play or a decline. All musicians who applied will be contacted. There is no deadline to express interest as a musician, however, when the stages are filled for this year's event we will place a notice on the ArtsGoggle website that lets you know our 2023 ArtsGoggle booking period has ended.
Performances start every hour on the hour on two official ArtsGoggle stages main stages. Entertainers are asked to perform 45-minute sets. A team of friendly stage managers and volunteers support all musicians performing at ArtsGoggle as we work to share the musical talent of Fort Worth with our community. Thanks for your partnership!
Any performer who applies for 2023 ArtsGoggle booking consideration will also automatically be put into consideration for the 2023/2024 Friday on the Green events as well. This application will be a rolling list that our production team uses to program all upcoming events through 2023/2024.
Please email Panther City Exchange at pcxevents@gmail.com if you have questions regarding participating in ArtsGoggle as a performer.

ArtsGoggle is Fort Worth's premier festival of local arts.
This free-to-the-public, family-friendly event annually hosts more than 1,000 visual artists, 50 musical performances, artistic displays of every kind, food, drink, and fun for everyone. Unlike any event in Fort Worth, the festival exclusively focuses on highlighting the work of local artists, musicians, and performers of all media and experience levels.
ArtsGoggle attracts a crowd of 60,000+ patrons that are as diverse as the event's Near Southside neighborhood. Visitors are invited to park their cars and rediscover this revitalized urban district by Trinity Metro transit, by foot, or by bicycle, including Fort Worth Bike Sharing bikes.
We are celebrating 20 years!
ArtsGoggle started in 2003 as the Near Southside's indoor gallery night two decades ago. Designed to showcase the district’s revitalization efforts underway via newly established businesses hosting one-day open houses in partnership with local artists, the event remained almost exclusively indoors for a decade before spilling out onto the street. Today, visitors are invited to stroll artists' booths on Magnolia Avenue stretching more than a mile in length (21 blocks), and both indoors and outdoors at adjacent businesses.
ArtsGoggle prides itself in providing a casual, approachable, and vibrant environment for appreciating art and learning about the talents of our own community. This non-juried art festival is the launch pad for many artists showing their work for the first time. At the same time, ArtsGoggle draws some of the region's most celebrated artists as well. ArtsGoggle provides a supportive setting for aspiring and professional artists with new collections to display, sell and discuss their artwork.
