Tuesday Updates Due to Weather Forecast

In the Ledyard Gallery: Mirage of the Ocean by Josh Trudell

Photographer Josh Trudell's exhibit features 24 photographs of the South Island of New Zealand, capturing the region’s distinctive landscapes and the ever-changing conditions that define them. This show is on view through December 31.

Celebrate the Season

at the Howe Library! 

Friday, December 5

from 3:30-7:00 p.m.

Join us to Celebrate the Season in Downtown Hanover!


Stop by for a free holiday concert with the North Country Chordsmen and VoxStars from 3:30-4:30 p.m. before heading up for the tree lighting! Afterwards, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., we will be serving samples of chili (meat and vegetarian) and giving away free books for all ages (while supplies last), and there will be seasonal crafts and activities for youth 10 and under.

Winter Carnival

Celebrate Winter season with fun and games at our Winter Carnival! 


This event is facilitated by our Howe Teen Activities Group. TAG has worked hard to plan this event and is excited to share it with the public!


At the carnival, you'll be able to face-off for the high score in a snowball catapult game, craft cards and snowflakes, enjoy a delicious hot chocolate from our hot chocolate bar, enjoy winter themed-face painting, sticker art, and more for your chance at winning fun winter prizes!


Registration is optional but encouraged for the reminder email and notifications in the event that winter weather postpones the event.
