50th Annual Elden Murray Photographic Exhibition and Competition is Here!

The Elden Murray Photographic Exhibition and Competition provides Upper Valley amateur photographers of all ages with an opportunity to display their work to the public. The 2026 exhibit is on display at the Ledyard Gallery at Howe Library until Wednesday, February 25

Local beekeeper, Jennifer Mercer, gives an introduction to beekeeping, covering a year of getting started with a hive and what to expect. She also provides suggestions to gardeners on what to plant to support pollinators.

Tech Drop-In Now on Wednesdays

Drop-in Tech Help is our quick tech help option at the library. Drop -in on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the New Books Area. We are excited to have Hartford Area Career & Technology Center Information Technology students run this program for the next several months.

Registration Encouraged but Not Required

Howe Teen Activities Group is a group for teens who want to contribute to the library! We will help with teen space decoration, create book highlights, help to prepare for other teen programs – and most importantly - will plan and facilitate a community event! Snacks will be provided.
