We are excited to bring Vermont Reads to Howe Library. Join Howe Library for a series of events around this year's title, Gather. "Told in a wry, cautious first-person voice, Kenneth M. Cadow’s resonant novel, a 2023 National Book Award Finalist, brings an emotional and ultimately hopeful story of one teen’s resilience in the face of unthinkable hardships."

Gather - A Vermont Reads Book Group (Hybrid)

Wednesday, February 11 from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

This one-time book group is open to everyone! Gather can be checked out by any Upper Valley resident, regardless of library membership.

Author Visit with Kenneth M. Cadow (Hybrid)

Thursday, March 6 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Join us for a reading and discussion by author Kenneth M. Cadow. Free copies of Gather will be available at the presentation, while supplies last, with a special thank you to Vermont Reads for the books.

Final Days to Register for Elden Murray

A photography exhibition and competition for all ages, the Elden Murray Photographic Exhibition and Competition is a showcase for amateur Upper Valley photographers. This year's show will hang in the Ledyard Gallery in Feburary 2025; registration (which is free!) is open until January 21.
