Get ready to Unearth a Story from June 15 through August 15. We’re digging into everything from archaeology and ancient fossils to the secrets of science and America’s 250th.
Join us for a summer of adventure and see what mysteries you can find! This year, we have partnered with the Etna Library to bring you a series of fabulous programs. Plus, we’ll have reading challenges available for kids, teens, and adults alike. And our Summer Community Reads returns with a new title.

The Mount Washington Observatory pass is back for the summer. pass provides a free weather station tour for a family with two adults and up to three kids (age 17 and under). This is a physical pass that must be picked up at the library.
For June only: This pass allows patrons to buy 1 adult ticket and get 1 adult ticket free to the Cog Railway (limited to Monday - Friday trains only).

| | | Celebrating the 250th: The Hanover History Hunt Begins Today! | |
Discover and explore Hanover's history in this all-ages scavenger hunt in collaboration with the Hanover Historical Society. Stop into the library and pick up a scavenger hunt map at either the children's or information desk, visit all 8 locations around town and learn about its history, return your map at the library before Monday, July 6, and be entered to win one of three Still North gift cards. Children 12 and under will additionally receive a free book upon completion.

Immerse yourself in "Finding Joy," a vibrant new exhibit by Marjorie Rose that aims to bring light into the darkness during these uncertain times. Described by Rose—a Taylor Swift fan—as the “Eras Exhibit” of her art journey, the show ranges from simple, joyful moments in people's and dogs' lives to colorful landscapes and abstracts. This exhibit is on display through July 29.
