A gilled aquatic vertebrate that moves through the water with the help of its fins.
Bamboozle someone. This expression appeared in the 19th century and means to confuse a person in order to make him give in or else to make him forget something. The expression comes from a fishing technique dating from the end of the 19th century. Fishermen used to immerse the head of the fish in the water and then bring it out. They repeated this operation several times in order to stun the fish, preventing it from struggling.
To be in his element. Used since the 13th century in the form "to be healthy like a fish in water", then entered into everyday language in the 17th century in its current form, the expression "like a fish in water" means that an individual is particularly comfortable in a specific environment, as a fish can be in water, its natural environment.
Being assailed by insults. The expression dates back to the beginning of the 20th century from the bad example of the fishmongers, the herring, famous for their legendary altercations, in the markets. The insult "rotten fish" was very popular among fish merchants.

Astérix le Gaulois is a bande dessinée (BD) series about Gaulish warriors, who have adventures and fight the Roman Republic during the era of Julius Caesar in an ahistorical telling of the time after the Gallic Wars. The series first appeared in the Franco-Belgian comics magazine Pilote on October 29, 1959. It was written by René Goscinny and illustrated by Albert Uderzo. Check the video!

How far would you go for the one you love? For Samy Diakhate (Ahmed Sylla) it’s the top of Mount Everest. After professing his love for Nadia (Alice Belaidi) he gets rejected because she is after a commitment and someone serious, unlike the unemployed Samy. He soon says he loves her so much he’d climb Everest for a kiss and a deal is made (even if she didn’t believe him at the time) and Samy begins his journey to the summit of Everest despite not having any mountain climbing experience prior.
