Dear homeowners,
As we quickly approach the first day of summer, temperatures have increased and in turn warm season weeds have become increasingly active. In particular, yellow and purple nutsedge.
We treat this invasive and resistant weed on a bi-annual basis, both applications occurring during summer. The first application will be taking place the week of 06/23/2025;
- Both lawn and planter bed areas on the Palmer side will be treated on Monday, June 23 , 2025 and on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
- Both lawn and planter bed areas on the Stadium will be treated on Wednesday, June 26, 2025.
Please note, only areas where Nut Sedge is present will be treated; this will not be a broadcast application. A blue indicator dye will be used to help the applicators and homeowners differentiate which areas have been treated and which have not.
We strongly recommend that people and pets avoid walking through treated areas. If you or your pet are exposed to a treated area, please remove affected clothing and wash all exposed skin area with mild soap and water, followed by warm water rinse.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at (760)771-1234 ext. 13.
