June 23 is national hydration day. Here are some tips for staying hydrated:
- Eat more fruits and vegetables with high water content.
- Drink a glass of water before each meal.
- Add fruits to your drinks.
- Carry a water bottle with you everywhere you go.
- Drink a glass of water first thing in the morning.
- Anytime you pass a water fountain, take a drink.
- Alternate your drinks. Every time you drink something other than water, take a sip of water right after.
- Water is needed to maintain the shape of blood cells which are needed to carry nutrients, oxygen and waste throughout the body.
- Staying hydrated helps with the regulation of body temperature.
- Being dehydrated can affect your mood by causing you to feel tired, cranky or irritable.

- Going up & down a set of stairs might seem like second nature to us, but intentionally going up & down a set of stairs can make for a great way to break a sweat.
- Find a set of stairs and complete 6 climbs (up & down = 1). If stairs are out of the question, complete the alternative.

Produce Tips
- A half cup of sliced peaches is about one cupped handful. This is about the size of half of a medium peach.
- A half cup of peaches has vitamin C, vitamin A, and fiber.
- Look for peaches and nectarines that have a sweet smell and feel slightly firm.
- Keep ripe peaches and nectarines in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- Put firm peaches and nectarines in a paper bag at room temperature until ripe.

Ingredients
- Nonstick Cooking Spray

60 ounces Peaches, equivalent to four 15-ounce cans, drained and sliced
- 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 1/4 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 2/3 cup Old Fashioned Oats
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/3 cup Flour
- 2 1/2 tablespoons Butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Spray a 9-inch deep dish pie pan with nonstick cooking spray and pour peaches in the pan.
- In a small bowl, stir in cornstarch, vanilla, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon; pour the mixture over peaches.
- In a large bowl, mix the remaining cinnamon, oats, brown sugar, flour, and butter with a fork until crumbly; sprinkle over peaches.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until juices are thickened and bubbly, and topping is lightly browned. Serve while hot.
