Promote Physical Activity and Healthy Eating with New Move Your Way Resources

In 2018, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) developed the Move Your Way campaign to share key recommendations from the second edition of the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans. ODPHP has recently created new Move Your Way resources for consumers that give actionable tips for moving more and eating healthy.

The resources are based on messaging from Move Your Way and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s MyPlate campaign — which promotes guidance from the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. The resources are available in English and Spanish, and they feature personal stories that are intended for specific audiences — adults, older adults, those who are pregnant or postpartum, and parents.

Be sure to share the stories with your audiences. To find social media messages and graphics, visit the Nutrition and Aging Resource Center's audience-specific resource pages. Help spread the word about the benefits of getting active and eating healthy!
