Judy was born and raised in the Northeast. She attended Art Career School in New York City and was initially a commercial artist with an advertising firm and small printing company.
Judy freelanced after her three children were born and taught art in a private school for 26 years (Kindergarten through eighth grade).
Judy and her husband, Bill retired to South Carolina in 1994. She is currently working with watercolors, mixed media and collages. She is also experimenting with furniture painting. Her love for the ocean and the beach has greatly influenced her work. She is known for her paintings of underwater sea life.
Judy's works are currently found in private and corporate collections throughout the United States.
When Judy is not in her studio painting you can find her at the beach looking for treasures and inspiration.
