WELCOMING O'DOWD'S NEW PRINCIPAL
After a rigorous national search, we have selected Doug Evans Ed.D., an accomplished and creative administrator with 20 years of experience serving Catholic schools across the East Bay, to become O’Dowd’s next principal. Join us in extending a joyful congratulations to Doug and his family. We look forward to the passion for academic excellence, inclusivity, faith and justice Doug will bring to our community.
"LIGHT OF THE WORLD" ART INSTALLATION
The beauty of the building is coming into focus. This month, construction crews install large-scale stained glass created specifically for O'Dowd by local artist Adia Millet. The piece, entitled "You are the Light of the World'' is inspired by our mission and charism, symbolizing the power of light to expand our creative hearts and minds. “It's a reminder that Christ’s light is in every one of us,” says Kim Walsh, President Emeritus and Center Project Manager. “This art will inspire O’Dowd students for generations.”
