RAIN OR SHINE
A note about the weather... O'Hara's Jog-A-Thon is a rain or shine  event. The forecast is calling for rain and we encourage you to be prepared for an Oregon rain shower!  Please make sure to pack a rain jacket for your student(s); and please join us in praying for a break in the weather!

Here are a few more tips & suggestions for inclement weather:
-Pack a plastic bag for wet clothes / shoes that may need to come off before getting in cars (muddy students will not be permitted to come into building to change clothing)
-Pack a few towels for drying off and protecting car seats
-Bring a change of clothes for your student(s)

SCHOOL DISMISSAL AFTER THE JAT
At the conclusion of the Jog-A-Thon, all students should return to their homeroom teacher at their lap count chute on the track. Lap cards will be collected from students at that time and parents that wish to take their student home may check their student out from homeroom teachers and leave from the track.  Please do not leave with your student before checking in with homeroom teachers.  All students not released from the track can be picked up at their normal front or back lot location.  Students should not bring a backpack to school tomorrow, and 7th & 8th grade students should also leave their Chromebooks at home.

JAT MEDALS
This year we have made a change as to how medals are awarded and will not be handing them out at the wrap up assembly. The top three boy and the top three girl runners in each grade will be awarded a gold, silver or bronze medal in their classrooms on Monday the 23rd.
