Invitation for O'Hara families
On Sunday, July 8, at 2pm in the Silva Hall at the Hult Center, the Oregon Bach Festival is presenting the world premiere of a new major work, The Passion of Yeshua, by acclaimed composer Richard Danielpour. The piece is in the tradition of Bach's Passions, but brings the story of the last 12 hours of Jesus' life into the 21st century by making room for voices traditionally silent in retellings of the biblical narrative - particularly women's (Mary, Mother of Jesus, and Mary Magdalene) and Jewish perspectives. The work features a full chorus and orchestra lead by one of the nation's most renowned conductor's, JoAnn Falletta. After the world premiere at OBF, the work will go on tour in California, New York, and then across Europe.

The Oregon Bach Festival is offering complimentary tickets to the performance to any O'Hara students, staff, and families who would like to attend. There will also be a one-hour Q & A with the composer at  1pm down in the Hult Studio, which O'Hara families are welcome to attend as well.

DEADLINE: To claim your free ticket(s), you must fill out this form by Tuesday, June 12, and pick up your vouchers from the O'Hara front office by Monday, June 18. (Unclaimed tickets will be returned to OBF)
