Wicker Park Seafood & Sushi opened in Terminal 2 at O'Hare in December 2010 and has since become one of the airport's most popular dining destinations. The concept for the beautifully designed restaurant resulted from a collaboration between HMSHost and the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA). Under the direction of HMSHost's sushi chef, Susumu Shibata, Wicker Park's authentic Japanese cuisine has received rave reviews from food critics and O'Hare travelers alike.
The restaurant was featured on the Today Show last November. Near the end of the segment, Weekend Today Show meteorologist Dylan Dryer called Wicker Park's sushi "the best she's ever had".
