Welcome back to a new academic year! As we embark on this exciting journey together, I want to extend a warm welcome to all our dedicated teachers, principal leaders, and district leaders. Your unwavering commitment to education and the success of our students is truly inspiring.

As we begin this new school year, I invite each of you to renew your commitment to academic excellence for all students. Together, we can create an environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive and achieve their full potential.

I am also thrilled to introduce OABSE’s newly elected executive leadership. Their passion and vision will undoubtedly guide us towards new heights of success and innovation.

In addition, I am pleased to announce that we are developing plans to re-establish the Heights affiliate in the Cleveland suburbs. This initiative is a testament to our ongoing efforts to expand our reach and impact across Ohio.

As we move forward, I want to reaffirm OABSE’s educational and organizational goals for the upcoming year:

EDUCATIONAL

• Improve literacy 
• Reduce chronic absenteeism
• Build teacher, principal, and district leader pipelines
• Increase public school funding

ORGANIZATIONAL

• Grow Affiliates and Membership: We aim to strengthen our network by increasing the number of affiliates and members.
• Increase and Diversify Revenue Stream: We are committed to finding new and diverse sources of revenue to support our initiatives.
• Expand Superintendent Commission Network: We will continue to expand our Superintendent Commission network to foster collaboration and shared learning.
• Increase Professional Development Opportunities: We are dedicated to providing more professional development opportunities for our members and the broader education community.
