Community Action Bike Shop creates new friends group

LORAIN COUNTY - The LCCAA Bike Shop is asking its friends to put their pennies to the pedal this summer.
The Bike Shop, in the Ron Nabakowski Youth Center, 101 W. 10th St. in Lorain, and the Community Action Agency will sponsor a virtual Bike-A-Thon and Trike-A-Thon for three-wheelers, starting in September.

Work begins to on $800k upgrade to Brumberg building
|

IRONTON — Work started this week on an $800,000 upgrade on the historic
Brumberg building in downtown Ironton.
Kline helped secure a $250,000 grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission, another $250,000 in community development block grant funding and $100,000 in state financing.

Clinton County CAP holds Virtual 5k
|
Funds from the event will be used to support the senior center, which due to COVID 19 has been closed. The agency is working to prepare the center for re-opening and making improvements to enhance the facility for the seniors when they return.
